Alana De La Garza has earned a reputation in the world of the television. The year was 1976. De La Garza was born to a Mexican-American father and an Irish-American mother from Columbus Ohio. Soon enough she was relocating to Texas to pursue the field of physical therapy in the University of Texas. Her most memorable character came in 2006 on Law & Order where she was A.D.A. Connie Rubirosa. The actress was on the show for 85 seasons. The character later re-entered the short-lived spin-off Law & Order: LA. De La Garza was nominated numerous times for her performance as a character, and among them was Best Supporting Actress in Television in the Imagen Foundation Awards. The year 2008 was the time she was awarded the Impact Award from the National Hispanic Media Coalition for her outstanding performance for a Dramatic Television Series. De La Garza got a reprise role in CSI Miami a few moments further. She portrayed Marisol Deko in the role of Horatio the wife of actor Michael Caine. She played Dr. Lena Solis in NBC's dark drama Do No Harm. The show was canceled after just two episodes.
